Seeing all of my work up on the wall made me realize how far I had come and how much work I created that truly represents who I am as a graphic designer. All of the work up together really brought out my true style, which is colorful, playful and clean.
I never realized how much my work related to all of my other pieces as far as the colors and typography until it was up on a wall next to each other. Even though each piece is completely different from one another I can still tell that this is my work.
After having the tea logo designed I am focusing on the package design. This design is difficult because I am trying to find a system that will flow into all of the different tea flavors. My goal is to be more playful with type and keep the identity simple.
I am also creating a tea poster to go along with the tea products. I created a saying, “Help yourself. Drink tea” and am making a poster with this. Then next to this poster I plan on having a poster with information on different types of tea. For this poster, my goal was to keep it simple and relate it to the logo by adding the same pattern and leaf as the logo has.

Currently I am working with a client to create a logo and tea can for his loose leaf tea leaves. For this design, he wanted something that was going to be clean, simple, rustic and timeless.
Before even getting started with designing a package and logo I researched all about tea, where it came from, the different flavors and how it is made. After I felt confident in understanding what loose leaf tea was, I started sketching logo ideas.
I finally got to a place where I was confident in a couple different logo designs that I wanted to show my client. But, I wanted to show them on a package design layout so he would get an idea of what the logo would look like on the tea can. The attached document is what I ended up showing him and he loved my logo ideas because he understood the amount of meaning behind each one.
Here is the pdf of what I showed my client: tea can design 3_3_16
